Dr. Park earned his undergraduate degree from Duke University and his medical degree from the University of Illinois College of Medicine. He then completed an intensive 6-year post-graduate residency in general and plastic surgery at Loyola University Medical Center.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Plastic Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), a distinction that signifies rigorous evaluation by peers and adherence to the highest ethical and professional standards. As the first plastic surgeon to establish a practice in Rocky Mount in several years, Dr. Park played a pivotal role in expanding the range of advanced care available in Nash County. He introduced TRAM flap breast reconstruction and erbium laser resurfacing to the region, was the first to establish a nationally certified, self-standing operating room, and among the earliest to offer laser hair removal and intense pulsed light (IPL) treatments locally.
